First off i should say happy new year and happy easter ! I know its been that long since i have updated the site, its been hectic with the move down to brighton. But first off all is well and i hope your well ! There has not been that much going on to tell you about apart from working hard with the course and things are moving with the progressive rock band i started up. We have been rehearsing and auditioning vocalists and have got a lot of material in the works and its sounding great.We went to reading to record in a studio, check out the myspace and listen to the tracks. Still ruff as no mastering, eq, mixing has been done. Also we still have to get the recording with the vocalist. Hello folks ! Its been a while since i last updated the site, so i thought i would drop you an email to tell you what i have been upto. I have finally moved down south to Brigthon, to study professional musicianship in guitar at BIMM. I have been waiting for about a year to move so I'm over the moon to finally be here. Its a great course and I'm enjoying it and feel I'm getting better as a musician already.

I have also had an awesome opportunity to play guitar on an instrumental track that will be on the cover CD of guitar techniques magazine. I had audition on Friday and all went well, so i will be recording sometime december. There was only 15 people select out of BIMM so its good to be selected.

Last but not least, i have been giving my album around to the guitar tutors in BIMM and i have been getting great feedback. These guys are in the music industry performing with top acts so its great to get some good feedback off them. Also my CD is selling on other websites and now on lots of mp3 websites. I will upload the links on the music page.

Its getting near christmas so please if you are going to order an album for someone or for yourself, do it quick ! You know what its like with the post.

Hi everybody, time for an update. It was my birthday there on the 12th of august so i was out enjoy that with friends. 23 now ! Getting old ! Been getting things ready for my move down south. Cant wait to get gigging again.

As for the album i have just signed up for some digital distributation. So people can download tracks if they want instead of ordering the album. This will be on website likes of i tunes and napstar etc. I will let you know when that gets up and running. Also i have a few more reviews of the album that i got back. Again very pleased with what people are saying about it.So have a read.

Last but not least, i managed to get some airplay on an Argentina Progressive Rock Radio Station. The station played about 4 songs from the album and go into detail about it. The only thing is its in spanish so i cant understand what they say but its still cool to get some airplay and let people across the globe hear my music. Hello gang ! How are ya all ? Good i hope ! I have uploaded some new reviews of the CD so be sure to check them out. Very pleased with the feedback, getting a good buzz about the CD. But the one thing is, i still have to promote my CD, nobody knows that i have released it. Takes a while to get the word around. So people, get involved and help me out. Hi folks, thought it was time for an update. Hope all is well ! Summer is nearly upon us ! Cant wait and not long till my move down to Brighton and start my music course.

Changed a few things on the website, for the better i hope! I have added some new things to the site. Gigs page has been add, no gigs just now. Also a page for reviews, i added some more reviews of the CD. Getting some great reviews, really pleased ! So have a read what the people have to say. Also on that page will be some interviews i have been asked to do. The first one is up so have a read of that as well. Last but not least i have added a lessons page. I have not put anything up just now, but i will be covering the basics to advance stuff, ranging from chords, theory, scales, improvisation etc. So i will keep you posted when that starts off.

Hey everybody, hope all is well ! Just a quick update to let you know how the CD is getting on. I have been sending the CD around to lots of websites and record companies to get reviewed. I have posted up the first review of the CD so be sure to check it out ! All the reviews are on the music page. If you want to review the CD then send me an email ! Also i have finally got my CD selling on the guitar 9 records website, CD baby and Guitar Euroshop is the next couple to get onto. Just got to send some CDs off. Selling well in dundee and I'm promoting it on the internet more, but it takes time and its early days !But all good so far !

Hey folks good news ! My CD is finally released ! It did take a lot, lot, longer than planned. But all that waiting is finally over. This my first CD and hopefully it wont be the last. But you'll be the judge of that. I really hope you like the music and the artwork. Hey, hey just an update on how the album is coming along. All the mastering is done ! Wahoo ! I have uploaded all the preview tracks and i have also put up 4 full length tracks on myspace. Please check them out.

The album is at the very final stage, the duplication process. I will be getting 500 made. Hopefully they will sell well and i get good interest and good feedback. The duplication process could take around 2 weeks. So the next update will be the RELEASE !!!

Hey guys, just to let you know that all the mixing is finally finished. All the tracks have been sent off to get mastered and i have been waiting for about a week to get them back. I'm hopeful that i will get them Monday or Tuesday. Once i do i will post all the preview tracks up.

I have uploaded some new videos. I had some problems with the videos last week but fixed now. The videos are tracks off my album, hope you like them. The latest one i have uploaded is "Going Nowhere". Its the full length track about 5 min's long, so please be patient when downloading.

Hi, just a quick update. Just now i have been working on the drums, getting them sounding better with the mix. So that has slowed the process back on the album and i have not put any more preview clips up until i get that sorted. What can i say, I'm a perfectionist ! Once i do then all the tracks will get uploaded at once. I have nearly got two tracks done and its sounding tight and a lot better ! Hopefully finished it by the weekend.

Also i have posted up a video of me jamming over a backing track. I will be posting more up in the following weeks from tracks off the album.

Howdy folks, how ya all ? Hope life's treating you well ! Finally the mastering is finished, took longer than expected and had to change a few things. But the main thing is, its finished. I have uploaded the first two tracks of the album, and track 3 will be uploaded tomorrow so be sure to check back ! These tracks are low quality mp3's to keep the file size down, so it will sound better on the CD !!

Hello gang ! Thought an update was well over due. Things have been moving on the album !! Finally everything is recorded ! Was in the studio recording the drums sunday past, went better than expected. Got the recording and mixing done in one day. I was very pleased and glad to see things moving. All the tracks have been sent for mastering and I'm now waiting for the final disc.

Once that has been received its then posted off with the art work for 1000 CDs to be made ! Hopefully not to long, i would say around 2-3 weeks till it is finally released. As for the artwork, i have made a new design for the album. Check it out on the music page, hope you like it !! Also i have uploaded new photos from when we where recording, have a look.

I will be previewing the tracks over my website while the CD is getting packaged. A new track will get posted everyday, so be sure to check back to listen to the final version of all the songs !!

Last but not least, all the bands i was in have now split up. The covers bands has ended and for the originals we just called it a day. I would say the reason for both is its getting close for me moving down south to brighton. To study at BIMM. So just now I'm working to get this album out and still teaching guitar. So if your in the dundee area and are look for lessons get in touch !

Hello folks, how's everybody ! Christmas is upon us ! Time does fly in ! Anyway thought an update was due. I'm back from Germany. I was there for 5 days playing a gig with the covers band. Was a great laugh and the gig went great !

January 14th is the date set for recording the drums for the album. Hopefully get it done in one day ! I would of liked to get it done earlier but since its getting near christmas and new year a break is due ! For you , for me for everybody ! lol

Howdy folks !

How's everybody ? Hope all is well ! Just a quick update. I'm just back from Brighton and had my audition for the guitar course at BIMM. I managed to get in and will be moving there around next summer. Lots of opportunities down there, so hopefully something will pop up.

As for the album, all the songs are finally recorded ! Just need to re-record a rhythm part on one song and that's it. I'm about to arrange a date, to go into the studio with a friend and record drums. Hopefully be the end of November, fingers crossed ! After that is done then its into mixing and mastering and then send it off to a duplication company. I would say around december time the CD will be released, but if everything goes well then hopefully be earlier.

Hey peeps !

Just back from Birmingham guitarfest. Was awesome, saw some great bands and guitarists. The Quireboys rocked !! Derrin Nauendorf blew me away with his acoustic playing. And Jennifer Batten was incredible. Did not take a lot of photos due to the lighting, but i have posted up a photo with me and Jennifer Batten. Awesome guitarist and very nice person ! Great news on my recorder and hard drive. I picked it up today and everything is working fine and i still have all my tracks on my hard drive ! Nothing was deleted or wiped ! So happy and this will save a lot of time and hassle of re-recording my music again. Going to get right on it and start recording the last track for the album.

Last but not least, i have eventually posted up a video. When my recorder was getting fixed i started writing a new song and decided to video it and show you guys what I'm doing and hopefully get your feedback on it. Its still not finished, but hopefully be on the album, maybe a bonus track. More videos to come, stay tuned.

Hey guys, not so good news. The hard drive in my recorder yesterday broke. All my songs for the album and others were on that. So I'm totally gutted, all my work deleted. I have some of the songs on my computer, roughly mixed. So i will have to start writing the songs all over again. I'm still waiting to get my recorder fixed so hopefully i will get it back soon. Really just bad luck, and if anybody has the same model or recoding make sure you back all your work up !! Regularly !!

I have also a gig that I'm playing with a friend, i will be playing some solo songs. I don't know what i will play since all the backing tracks were on the recorder, so its going to be a last minute decision what i will play.

Hey guys !! Hope all is well, thought id check in and say hi ! The holiday in Barcelona was awesome ! Great weather and had a great time. It been pretty nuts since i got back, my "New Start" has been selected for a rock compilation CD that will be getting sent to radio station across the U.S. Not only that but it will also be getting sent to record companies. So I'm very happy , hopefully i might get something out of it ! I have started writing the last tune for the album and its rockin !! Nice melody, and its probably the heaviest tune. Hopefully you'll like it !

Hey people just an update on what's been happen with the album and other stuff. First off i have uploaded some pics of the new mesa boogie dual rectifier head i bought. Its kicks ass and that's what i have been using to record the rest of the album. I have also been getting a pedal board made for me and it should be ready within a couple of weeks. I will upload pics when it is finished.

As for the album, its coming along fine. I was working on the album cover with a friend last night and changed a few things on the front and back cover. Just changed the fonts and layout. Looks much better. Just the insides to finish. Keep you posted.

I have also been working hard on the recording side and have nine songs now for the album. I was going to keep it just nine songs but i was jamming and came up with some cool riffs and licks so i will record another one song and leave it at that. I also re-record "The End Is Near" as the original was not the best of quality so it sounds much better and clearer. I'm a perfectionist so that's why this is taking so long to finish, i want it to be the best i can do and give it my all. So please be patient, thanks !

I'm going on holiday to Barcelona for two weeks, i leave tomorrow. When i get back i will be going in the studio with a friend and record drums for the album. Cant wait !! So if i don't reply to your comments or emails it because I'm soaking up the sun in Barcelona !!

Hey guys sorry for the delay in updating the web site been really busy with university. But I'm now finished uni and have more time to update the web site and write more tracks for the album.

I have added a video's page and I will soon get some videos uploaded. So please keep checking back. The front cover and back cover of the album are now upload so take a look. I hope you like them. They might change slightly but nothing drastic.

I have also add another photos page, these were taking at different gigs when playing with the covers band Electric Soup.
